Now also in bottles: the universal adhesive Futurabond® U bottle from VOCO The only truly universal adhesive, which has been tried and tested for many years, is now available in a 5 ml bottle: with Futurabond U, VOCO offers not only particularly easy handling but also an outstanding range of application options when it comes to indications and to selecting the etching technique and curing mode. Whether self-etch, selective-etch or total-etch: Futurabond U bottle allows practitioners to select freely how they wish to condition the dental hard tissue, depending on the individual clinical situation and their personal work preferences. The innovative monomer technology means that there is no risk of overetching the dentine – this prevents postoperative sensitivity. Futurabond U bottle is also considerably more flexible than conventional bonding agents offered in bottles where its range of applications is concerned: applied in a single layer, the universal adhesive creates a strong bond to enamel and dentine, thus ensuring a durable, gap-free bond between the dental hard tissue and restorative material. At the same time, it offers firm adhesion to different materials such as metal, zirconium dioxide, aluminium oxide and silicate ceramic without any additional primer. In combination with Futurabond U bottle DCA, the Dual Cure Activator, the universal adhesive is compatible with all self-curing and dual-curing methacrylate-based composites without any restrictions. An outstanding bond strength is also guaranteed with chemical curing, thus making Futurabond U bottle ideal for post luting in the root canal. Futurabond U bottle can also be used for the desensitisation of hypersensitive tooth necks and after cavity preparation and is a suitable varnish for protecting glass ionomer cement restorations. Thus, Futurabond U bottle covers such a broad spectrum of applications that no additional bonding system is required in practice. In addition, Futurabond U is also available in a disposable applicator in the SingleDose version.
